Wounded by police bullets in a house raided by special operations police in Van’s Hacıbekir (Xaçort) neighborhood, Remziye Bor is now brain dead.

Following the attack where one special operations policeman lost his life and another was wounded, police forces raided a house in Hacıbekir (Xaçort) neighborhood in Van’s central İpekyolu district 2 days ago. Remziye Bor got seriously wounded in the raid with 3 bullets on her chest and reports indicate that she has experienced brain death.

Remziye Bor was taken to Van Research Hospital afterwards and placed in the ICU. Doctors are still trying to save the 7-month old baby she was carrying at the time of the shooting.
