HPG Media Center issued a written statement on recent guerilla actions and clashes. 7 soldiers died and 1 tank got destroyed during the actions of HPG/YJA Star guerillas.

SİİRT

HPG announced that guerillas carried out an action against the TRT Beykent outpost in Siirt’s Kurtalan district at 19:50 on June 12, and at least 2 soldiers died during the action. HPG stated that the action was carried out in memory of comrades Nurhak and Hasan that fell as martyrs in Hezex.

ŞIRNAK

The Media Center stated that guerillas carried out an action against the soldiers at Çelê Nımeja outpost in Şırnak at 19:00 on June 11 and destroyed 1 tank during the action. HPG guerillas carried out another action against the military garrison and lodgings in Şırnak and the numbers of dead and injured guerillas have not yet been determined.

HPG reported that Turkish soldiers and village guards from Pirosa, Hemka and Melisê Bermanê launched an operation near the areas of Setkarê, Çemanê, Komatê, and the Second Bridge at 10:30.

BİTLİS

HPG said that guerillas carried out an assassination action against the soldiers at Kotan outpost in Bitlis’ Tatvan district on June 12, and 1 soldier was killed during the action. Guerillas also carried out an action against the soldiers at Qenexder outpost in Bitlis at 19:45 on the same day, and great material damage was inflicted but the numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been determined. Turkish army retrieved the bodies of dead soldiers in Skorsky helicopters, and bombarded the slopes of Kember and Kuris.

KARS

The Media Center announced that HPG guerillas carried out two actions the soldiers positioned at Military recruiting offices and at a hill in Kars’ Kağızman district at 01:00 on June 12. 4 soldiers were killed and 2 army positions were destroyed during the action in the recruiting office, and the numbers of dead and injured soldiers at the hilltop has not yet been determined. HPG stated that the actions were carried out memory of Pirdoğan and Rüstem comrades that fell as martyrs in Ağrı’s Bazid district on June 8.

AĞRI

HPG reported that Turkish warplanes bombarded Ağrı’s Tendürek region at 17:30 on June 12.

AMED

Lastly, HPG announced that a guerilla named Andok Özgür fell as martyr during air strikes in Amed’s Lice district on June 7.
