HPG guerrillas hit the Turkish troops in Çukurca early Sunday morning, which left 7 soldiers dead. On the other hand, detonation of an explosive in Şemdinli also resulted in casualties among Turkish soldiers.

ŞEMDİNLİ

HPG and YJA-Star guerrillas carried out an action targeting Turkish soldiers on Merganus hill in Hakkari’s Şemdinli district at around 05:00 Sunday morning. According to local sources, 7 soldiers were killed and many others were wounded in this action.

On the other hand, an explosive went off among the soldiers on an operation in Şemdinli, leaving several soldiers dead or wounded.

ÇUKURCA

In another action, guerrillas hit the Koordine hill in Hakkari’s Çukurca district with mortars. Several mortars hit the hill but the number of soldiers killed or wounded here couldn’t be clarified.
