As many as 75 human shields were taken into custody yesterday evening while on their way to the rural area of Amed's Lice district where an expansive Turkish military operation continues alongside an intensified aggression from both air and ground.
75 human shields who include mayors and local HDP and DBP executives were detained in the Hedik village located on Amed-Bingöl road. The detainees were later taken to Lice Commando Battalion and are being held there since.
