According to the statement by HPG Press and Communication Centre (HPG-BIM) HPG guerrillas took several actions against Turkish army in Hakkari within the past 24 hours.
KBDH fighters also hit Turkish military outpost in Petrut hill in rural Cukurca. 7 other soldiers were killed and 2 military positions and a MG3 weapon was destroyed in the attack.
After the attack, Turkish army bombarded the area with fighter jets, howitzers and mortars. The guerrilla units retreated without any causalities.
The Women’s Unified Revolution Movement (KBDH) fighters targeted Turkish military positions in Sikera Sipi hill in Semdinli, a district of Hakkari province. At least 1 Turkish soldier was killed.
