9 people killed in Daquq laid to rest
9 people from the same family, who lost their lives when Iraqi federal police opened fire on a vehicle traveling from their village to Daquq after a mortar attack by ISIS gangs, were buried today.
9 people from the same family, who lost their lives when Iraqi federal police opened fire on a vehicle traveling from their village to Daquq after a mortar attack by ISIS gangs, were buried today.
ISIS gangs shot 4 mortar shells into the Darayi Heftexari village in Kirkuk's Daquq district yesterday evening. 3 men and 1 woman were injured when one of the shells hit their home.
During the attack, a family of 9 set off from the village to go to Daquq in their vehicle.
When the vehicle approached a checkpoint near Daquq, the Iraqi federal police opened fire.
All nine people in the vehicle lost their lives in the shooting. They were taken to the Daquq hospital for autopsies.
The bodies were buried today in a mass ceremony in the Daquq cemetery. There were women and children among them.
The people who lost their lives are: Kasim Hisen Salih, Hesen Hisen Salih, Nasir Tani Xelef, Nesire Xelef Ebdulla, Mensur Tani Xelef, Mazn Nasir Tani, Mihemed Nasir Tani, Minar Nasir Tani and Eli Vahr Tani.
