YPS General Coordination announced that at least 9 special operations officers were killed in Nusaybin, Şırnak and Silopi. YPS emphasized that state forces used chemical weapons in Nusaybin.

NUSAYBİN:

YPS stated that its forces damaged 2 tanks and 2 earth digger that were used to enter Martyr Gelhat neighborhood on May 21, and 2 state forces were killed as they were positioned inside a house. YPS forces carried out a sabotage action in this house after their initial action, and several soldiers died and got injured during this action. YPS emphasized that state forces use warplanes to bombard the neighborhoods of resistance due to the heavy blows they have received recently, and use chemical weapons that have an affect range of 400 meters. YPS noted that its forces took down a reconnaissance drone on May 19.

ŞIRNAK:

YPS announced that 1 earth digger was damaged and its driver was killed during a sabotage action in Bahçelievler neighborhood on May 19. YPS members carried out an action against state forces responding to the action in Bahçelievler, and 1 soldier died during the clashes here. YPS forces carried out an action against state forces in the same neighborhood on May 20, and 1 soldier died here. YPS forces destroyed one SPG-9 weapon and damaged a tank in the same neighborhood on the same day.

YPS stated that its forces carried out an action against state forces on May 21, and 1 soldier died and 1 tank was damaged during the action. YPS forces carried out an action in between Aydınlık Evler and İsmet Paşa neighborhoods against a Kobra-type vehicle on May 21, and 1 soldier died here. A Kobra-type armored vehicle was also destroyed in the same neighborhood.

SİLOPİ:

YPS said that 2 state forces died and another 2 got injured during the clashes in Karşıyaka, Martyr Harun and Barbaros neighborhoods on April 9 and 11.
