90 houses in a village of Lice forcibly evacuated by soldiers
State forces have forcibly evacuated and occupied 90 houses in Kerwas village of Amed's Lice district.

In Amed's Lice district where operations and attacks of state forces continue, policies of desolation have extended to evacuation of villages.
Turkish soldiers have occupied the village of Kerwas in Amed's Lice district, telling the followings to the locals; “We will engage in close combat and launch an expansive operation. We are not responsible for your security of life”. Soldiers then evacuated the people in as many as 90 houses by use of force. People in these 90 houses were forced to leave the village in tractors.
On the other hand, several families have refused to leave their homes despite all the threats.
Locals living in Mehle vicinity of Kerwas are also facing the same kind of threat and repression, and they voice concerns over the Turkish state's military practices in Lice.
