Kurdish hunger strike resistance against the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan is growing.
Şeyma Ednan living in Kelar district of Germiyan, South Kurdistan, has announced starting a hunger strike demanding an end to the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Ednan who went on a one-month solidarity hunger strike said the following; “I wanted to support the hunger strike actions of Leyla Güven, Nasır Yağız and Herêm Mehmud against the isolation of Leader Apo. I call on the Kurdish people to increase their actions against isolation. Leader Apo has always defended women’s rights and freedom.”
