A boy lost his life in the fire that broke out in the Behirk Refugee Camp in Hewler.

A fire broke out in the Behirk Refugee Camp in Hewler. According to the first information obtained, a 17-year-old boy died in the fire. Hewlêr Fire Department Spokesperson Serkewt Kareş announced that 5 immigration cabinets were burned in the fire.

Kareş stated that no one was injured in the fire, and that the cause of the fire has not yet been learned.

Migrants from the Nineveh Plain and the city of Saladin live in Behirk Camp. A fire broke out in the camp on 21 September.
