Academics and politicians from Kurdistan evaluated the new Social Contract of Northern and Eastern Syria and said that it protects the interests of the people.
A delegation consisting of academics and politicians from Kurdistan visited the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria South Kurdistan Representation and discussed the new Social Contract approved last week.
The delegation was welcomed by South Kurdistan Democratic Autonomous Administration Representative Evin Siwêd and Representation Board member Fethullah Heseni.
Academics and politicians pointed out that despite regional pressures and the threats of the occupying Turkish state to the region, the approval of the new Social Contract was an important step, serving the interests of the people of Northern and Eastern Syria and strengthening the administration’s political power.
The political, military and economic situation in Northern and Eastern Syria was also evaluated.
