In recent weeks, many regions in North Kurdistan have been subjected to arbitrary and systematic bans.
According to Şırnak governor’s office, the region of Gabar Mountain, located in the rural areas of Şırnak and Güçlükonak district, as well as the region of Cudi Mountain, located on the borders of Şirnak center, Silopi and Cizre districts, were declared a "Temporary Special Security Zone" for 15 days.
The Governorate announced that entry to both regions was prohibited until 24 May.
