Mount Gabar, located within the borders of Şirnak center and Güçlükonak district, was declared a "Temporary Special Security Zone" for 15 days by the governorate. The ban will continue until January 25.

Şırnak Governorate had previously banned access to Mount Gabar from December 26, 2023 until January 10, 2024.
