The siege and destruction by state forces continue in the Şırnak province although the military operations in the city were announced to have ended in the wake of a so-called curfew in force since March 14.
Families wanting to enter or leave the city are being obstructed by state forces on the grounds of an official ban.
In the meantime, state forces continue setting fire to houses in several neighborhoods of the city. A number of houses and workplaces have been burnt down in Gazipaşa neighborhood during the last two days. Hundreds of houses have burned to the ground so far.
In Bahçelievler neighborhood, houses are being burnt and blown up with explosives for the past three weeks.
Civilian houses are being torn down in Yeni, Cumhuriyet, Dicle, Yeşilyurt and Aydınlıkevler neighborhoods as well.
On the other hand, many armored vehicles and members of state forces that had been dispatched to the city for genocidal attacks were seen leaving the city in the early hours of the morning.
