Action in Bamerne leaves 6 Turkish soldiers dead

The occupying Turkish state uses the base in Bamerne as a logistical and reinforcement site with the KDP’s approval.

The ‘Martyr Sidar Vengeance Team’ affiliated to the ‘Martyr Bedran Gundikremo Vengeance Team’ carried out an action in the Bamerne village of Amadiya town in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

The Martyr Sidar Vengeance Team’ targeted the Turkish forces stationed in the village at 16:00 on May 1.

The action left six soldiers dead.

The village of Bamerne houses a Turkish base since the early 90’s. The occupying Turkish state uses this base as a logistical and reinforcement site with the KDP’s approval. Tanks and hummers are deployed here, as well as mortars and howitzers of different sizes.
