HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office reported that guerrillas carried out sabotage actions against two dams in Gümüşhane and Giresun provinces in Black Sea region.

Accordingly, one of the sabotage actions targeted the hydroelectric power plant in Üçtaş village of Gümüşhane's Kürtün district at 04:00 on May 2.

During the same hours, another guerrilla unit targeted another hydroelectric power plant and dam over the Gavres stream in Giresun's Doğankent district. Both the power plant and the dam were rendered unusable as a result of the sabotage actions.
