Activist cycles to Tehran to make the kolbers' voice heard

Şerîf Bacwer, an environmentalist from Marîwan city in Eastern Kurdistan, embarked on a journey from Marîwan to Tehran, capital of Iran, on a bicycle in order to condemn the systematic killing of kolbers (border porters) by the Iranian regime.

Şerîf Bacwer, an environmentalist from Marîwan cycled from the city Marîwan to Tehran, in protest at the killings of kolbers by the Iranian regime.

Bacwer started on September 11 and was welcomed by many citizens, representatives of social organisations and environmentalists in Dêgulan town in Leylak region on Wednesday.

Bawcer participated in demonstrations for environmental protection and protests against the Iranian regime many times before. Last year the Iranian intelligence service (Itlaat) burned down a shop he owned in Marîwan because he had joined a rally.
