Turkish troops also continued shelling the guerrilla held areas with mortars and tanks.
AERIAL ACTIVITIES OVER MEDYA DEFENSE ZONES
HPG gave the following details regarding the ongoing activity of Turkish warplanes over the following guerrilla-held areas:
-Qandil region at between 08.30 - 12.00 on September 19,
-Avashin area at between 12.00 - 16.30 on September 18.
HPG said Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles conducted reconnaissance flights over the following areas;
-Avashin area at between 07.30 - 16.00 on September 18,
-Garê area at between 16.00 - 22.00 on September 18,
- Heftanin area at between 15.30 - 19.00 on September 18,
-Zap region at between 07.30 - 17.00 on September 18.
JETS SHELLED HEFTANIN
HPG reported that Turkish jets shelled Pırbıla, Martyr Kurtay and Bektorya areas in Heftanin at between 16.00 - 17.00 on September 18, which started fires in the lands of local people.
MORTAR ATTACKS BY TURKISH TROOPS
HPG went on reporting the bombardments launched from military posts at the borders of Medya Defense Zones with mortars and tanks. Accordingly;
Gülyazı Artillery Regiment, Hill Yekmal and Hill Sinek military posts at Heftanin border shelled Deryê Davetiya at between 09.30 - 11.00 on September 18.
Bezelê and Bedevê military posts at Zap border shelled Dola Mehendê, Dola Martyr Andok and Bedılê areas at between 08.00 - 08.30 on September 18.
A regiment in Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak shelled Kato area at 21:00 on September 18.
