People’s Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office has reported that the Turkish army continues shelling guerrilla areas.

Regarding the bombardments launched by Turkish ground troops from the military posts at the border of the Medya Defense Zones, HPG gave the following details:

Troops at Hill Sivri held by Aktütün (Bezelê) militray post in Şemdinli district of Hakkari shelled Hill Sor at Avashin border at between 21.30 - 22.30 on September 8.

Gülyazı Artillery Regiment at Heftanin border have been shelling Deriyê Davetiya area since September 7.

Eriş military post at Zap border shelled Xeregol area at between 10.00 - 11.00 on September 8.

TURKISH JETS SHELLED GELİYÊ DOSKÎ

HPG reported the following aerial activities by Turkish aircraft:

Turkish jets supported by drones shelled Geliyê Doskî and Hill Martyr Hozan in Yüksekova district of Hakkari at between 19.00 - 20.00 on September 8.

Turkish unmanned vehicles carried out reconnaissance flights over Garê are at between 13.30 - 16.30 and 20.00 - 22.00 on September 8 and over Zap region at between 07.00 – 22:00 on September 8 and at between 02.30 - 04.30 on September 9.

Turkish war planes carried out flights over Xakurkê area at between 10.30 - 12.30 and over Zap region at between 11.00 - 13.00 and 18.30 - 20.30 on September 8.
