Turkish warplanes are bombarding the Qandil region of PKK-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.

According to local sources, Turkish warplanes began to shell Qandil at 12:15 today noon. The bombardment continues in and around Kortek area.

Turkish drones are carrying out reconnaissance flights over the region. Warplanes had bombarded civilian residential areas two days ago and the Gare region yesterday. The results of the bombardments have not yet been clarified.
