Another DBP-held municipality usurped by the government
A trustee was appointed to the Görümlü Municipality in Silopi while the Co-mayors, who remain in custody, have been referred to court.
A trustee was appointed to the municipality of the Görümlü town in Şırnak's Silopi district. District governor Savaş Konak has been appointed to the DBP-held municipality as trustee.
Görümlü Co-mayors Abdulgaffur Rüzgar and Süheyla Büngül were detained on February 7 and they have been referred to Şırnak Courthouse today after giving their testimony at Silopi Gendarme Command.
