Kolbars, Kurdish load carriers crossing the Iranian, Turkish and Iraqi borders between the parts of Kurdistan, live dangerously. They are repeatedly targeted by both Turkish and Iranian forces.
Fire by Iranian state forces killed a 28-year-old kolbar in the Bane-Birwêşkanî border area. The kolbar, identified by his first name, Rêbwar, came from East Kurdistan.
Rêbwar was a father of two, one of them yet unborn, and lived in the village of Quliyava in East Kurdistan’s Bane city.
According to the data released by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, 6 kolbars died as a result of direct attacks of the regime forces, and 32 were injured in the last month.
