The Iranian regime has recently increased its attacks on Kolbers (workers who carry weight on their backs for a daily stipend), and targeted them again in the town of Kelashin located between Southern and Eastern Kurdistan.
It came out that Iranian Pasdaran forces stationed in Charchira outpost killed a kolber by the name of Îzedîn Xalidî on August 9. The 32 years old man was father of three and was earning his life as a kolber due to unemployment and financial difficulties.
Reports say that Xalidî was originally from a village in Somayê Biradost region of Salmas city.
