Special operation police teams have murdered a 19-year-old youth in Bismil district of Amed.

Police forces blockaded the neighborhoods of Esentepe, Şentepe, Rojava, Avaşin, Tekel and Fırat with armored vehicles before opening fire on the inhabitants at random.

19-year-old Halil Kurtiş has lost his life as a result of the armed attack by police forces. The youth's body has been taken to district state hospital.

As attacks by police continue, power has been cut in the district.

The curfew declared in the district Sunday evening was followed by an assault by Turkish security forces which left 8-year-old Elif Şimşek and 22-year-old Agit Yıldız dead since yesterday.
