In Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari where attacks by police forces and resistance by the people continues since last night, attacks by police has left yet another youth dead today.

A youth by the name of Azad Ertaş lost his life several hours ago as a result of fire opened by police from armored vehicles as the conflict in the district gets heavier.

Another youth by the name of Diyar Akın who was hit by 3 bullets in the chest during the police attacks against civilians, has lost his life at hospital.

According to the reports, Akın was on the third floor of a building when he was targeted and shot by police, after which he fell down the building and got seriously wounded. The youth was rushed to Yüksekova State Hospital but couldn't survive despite all the medical efforts. His body has been taken to the hospital morgue.

In the meantime, body of Azad Ertaş is being held in Eski Merkez Kışla Mosque.
