Following the KDP’s provocation attempt against guerrilla zones on October 24, special armed forces of the Barzani family have now abducted civilians living in the region.

According to reports from the ground, two civilians have been kidnapped from the village of Bamishme in Nehle plain and two others from the village of Chemanke.

While the reason for the abductions is not known, local people are of the opinion that KDP forces engage in illegal activities to intimidate and suppress the residents of the region.

It is thought that the KDP is employing the abduction method as a means of pressure against the people. Families of those kidnapped fear to pursue their aftermath in the climate of fear created by the KDP.

Names of those kidnapped are: Berevan İslam, Eya Bapi Mihemed, Bapir Remo and Dilgeş. They are reportedly detained in Duhok.
