The Yüksekova Municipality building and a fire truck belonging to the municipality were raked by fire from armored vehicles in Gever where the siege by Turkish forces continues.

Special operations units keeping the municipality’s fire department from tending to the fires in homes and shops due to heavy shelling raked the municipality building on İpekyolu Avenue and the fire truck in front the Fire Department building.

No lives were lost as there were no people around the vehicle and the surroundings.

The attack caused damage to the municipality and fire department buildings while the fire truck was rendered unusable.
