Turkish soldiers participating in an operation in Hakkari's Şemdinli district were targeted by an action from HPG guerrillas Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, the action by guerrillas left at least 4 soldiers dead and many others wounded.

Turkish Armed Forces reported in a related statement that 4 soldiers died and 9 others were wounded, including 4 heavily, after the detonation of explosives on their route.
