Aerial activities as well as the bombardments by Turkish forces on PKK-held Medya Defense Zones continue.

People’s Defense Forces (HPG) said in a written statement that aerial activities of the Turkish forces and bombardments against guerrilla areas continue.

HPG said Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles conducted reconnaissance flights over the following areas;

-Avashin border line at between 02.00 - 11.00 on September 4,

-Metina area at between 16:00 on September 3 and 11:00 on September 4,

-Zap region at between 07.00 - 08.30 and 16.00 - 17.00 on September 3,

-Lameç area of Pülümür district of Dersim at between 19.00 - 20.00 on September 3.

HPG reported that Turkish jets carried out flights over Avashin area at between 14.00 - 15.00 on September 3 and over Metina, Garê areas and Zap region at between 19.00 - 20.00 on September 3.

HPG went on reporting the bombardments carried out against guerrilla held areas. According to the HPG statement Turkish jets supported by drones shelled Gelîyê Doskî, Binbir areas and Glort Hill at between 15.00 - 16.00 on September 3.

Regarding the bombardments launched from Turkish military posts against guerrilla held areas with mortars, tanks and howitzers, HPG provided the following details:

- Oremar military post in Yüksekova district of Hakkari shelled Marty Bager area at Avashin border line between 02.30 - 06.30 on September 4.

- Elemun and Yekmalê military posts at Metina border shelled Dersim Hill and 3rd Habur at between 15.30 - 16.00 on September 3.

- Bilican military post at Zap border shelled Tiyarê and Gisê villages on September 1.

HPG lastly reported that Turkish soldiers have been putting pressure on the local people in the villages of Tiyarê and Gisê to leave and evacuate their villages.
