Bombings and clashes continued through the night in Şırnak province where the self-rule resistance against the state’s genocidal attacks has reached its 35th day. Bahçelievler neighborhood was hit by tanks, artilleries and howitzers through the night continuously. The attack caused fires in several houses. Violent clashes broke out between YPS/YPS-JIN forces and state forces trying to enter the neighborhoods simultaneous with the bombings.

No concrete information on the results of the clashes has yet been reached.

Most neighborhoods, Dicle, Cumhuriyet and İsmetpaşa neighborhoods in particular, were also raked continuously with DShK machine guns stationed on high hills along the line between Çakırsöğüt Gendarmerie Brigade and the 23rd Gendarmerie Border Division Command.

VIOLENT CLASHES IN 4 NEIGHBORHOODS

The bombing continues in İsmetpaşa, Cumhuriyet, Yenimahalle and Dicle neighborhoods where clashes have been intense for the last 25 days. Violent fighting continues around the 4 neighborhoods.

Hundreds of residential and commercial buildings have been torn down in the neighborhoods of self-rule under fire for days.

There are occasional clashes in neighborhoods like Gündoğdu, Tekser and Vakıfkent along with the neighborhoods waging self-rule resistance.

UAV ACTIVITY

The city saw continuous UAV and helicopter activity through the night.

There is also significant ambulance activity between Şırnak Public Hospital and the 23rd Gendarmerie Border Division Command.
