As the state of siege continues in Şırnak's Silopi district for the 21st day, state forces have intensified their attacks on Barbaros neighborhood since last night. The neighborhood remains under a heavy aggression and uninterrupted tank strikes since earlier today, in addition to gunfire from armored vehicles.

According to the reports coming through, special operation police raked a house in the neighborhood with gunfire, which left a man dead, and his wife heavily wounded.

An 35-year-old woman has also died after being hit bombshell fragments in the same neighborhood.

While intensified attacks on the neighborhood are going on, police and soldiers have reportedly detained a number of people and taken them to the police station.
