YPG Media Center stated that ISIS gangs attacked the region to the south of Kobanê’s Tişrîn dam with heavy weaponry between 00:00-03:30 and 12:00-14:00. In its statement, YPG noted that a major explosion took place in the ISIS’ trenches to the south of Jarablus around 12:00 on April 1, and the number of gang casualties has not yet been identified.

YPG also stated that ISIS gangs attacked Şedadê's Mekmen village with heavy weaponry on April 1, and the attack was repelled on the morning of April 2.
