Four BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) members were detained in Þýrnak during home raids carried out simultaneously by police and gendarme.
The houses of three BDP members were raided simultaneously at early hours this morning in Balveren town of Þýrnak by the gendarme units of 23.Gendarme Border Division Commandership. BDP Town Organization Head Mehmet Tahir Bayýk, Mustafa Çiftçi and Sekvan Uysal, whose houses were searched high and low, were detained at the raids.
Simultaneously with the gendarme raid in Balveren, the house of BDP member Ýbrahim Uysal in Ýsmet Paþa neighborhood was raided by Þýrnak Police Office TEM (Anti-Terror) units.
