Clashes between HPG guerrillas and Turkish forces continue in Şırnak's Beytüşşebap district since late last night in the wake of a bombardment by Turkish jets and artillery attack launched from District Regimental Command.

According to reports, Turkish troops also opened fire on the houses of civilians and targeted them with mortar fire during the clashes.

While the residents remain trapped in their houses due to the ongoing bombardment, a mortar shell fired from Regimental Command has hit the house of a civilian by the name of Mecit Ataman and left some members of the family inside wounded.

As mobile phone services have been suspended in the district, an ambulance that went to the scene to take those wounded for treatment has not turned back to hospital yet despite a long time.
