Blast at police checkpoint on Dersim-Ovacık road
A blast has occurred at a police checkpoint on the road between Dersim and its Ovacık district.
According to reports, sounds of gunshots were heard from the scene following the blast and several armored vehicles rushed to the area afterwards.
The road has been closed to traffic and reports suggest that a person has died, who remains unidentified. At least one policeman reportedly got wounded and rushed to hospital.
