According to reports by local sources, the blast occurred in between Kamışlı (Sinava) and Yeşiltaş (Şitazin) villages on the road leading to Dağlıca (Oremar).

Several ambulances and helicopters have been dispatched to the scene in the wake of explosion. While clear results were not immediately available, some of the wounded have reportedly been taken to Yüksekova Public Hospital.
