Reports are coming through that a roadside bomb was detonated near the Dicle University in Amed's central Sur district Monday evening.

At least 4 policeman died and 2 others were injured as a result of the explosion, according to reports which also suggest that the bombing targeted a police shuttle.

Ambulances have been dispatched to the scene after the blast.
