An armored vehicle of Turkish forces was hit by a blast in Hacıbekir (Xaçort) neighborhood of Van's central İpekyolu district.

According to initial reports, 2 special operations police died and 2 others were wounded as a result of the blast.

Turkish forces blockaded the neighborhood and started an air-supported operation in the area.
