A huge explosion occurred as a police vehicle passed by the Ten-Eyed Bridge in Amed's central Yenişehir district.

The scene is covered with huge smoke and a number of ambulances have been dispatched to the scene. Many policemen were reportedly wounded as a result of the explosion.

The blast in Mardin's Kızıltepe district also hit a police vehicle near the Public Hospital. Reports are coming through that dozens including civilians have been wounded in the explosion.
