September 19 evening, Turkish airstrikes targeted the rural areas of Rêkan and Nerwê villages in Shêladizê, Amadiya and the rural areas of the Horê village in Avashin region of Medya Defense Zones in Southern Kurdistan territory. At least 10 local people lost their lives in the attacks.
Bodies of the 4 people killed in the countryside of Amadiya could be retrieved from the scene only today due to continued Turkish aerial activity.
HPG guerrillas brought the bodies to the village of Kiryê Dêrê and handed them over to the families. The bodies were then brought to Sheladize in the afternoon.
