Body of Rozerîn Çukur who lost her life during the self-rule resistance in Sur 5 months ago, has been received by her family.

17-year-old Rozerîn Çukur lost her life in Amed's Sur district on January 8, since when her family has been denied access to her body amid the continued onslaught of state forces. Rozerîn's body could be identified only yesterday, and received by her family today from the morgue of the Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital.

Rozerîn's coffin was covered with a bridal gown and is being accompanied by hundreds towards the district of Dicle, including her friends and families of the martyrs who fell during the resistance in Sur.

Rozerîn will be laid to rest in the village of Herîdan.
