Yıldırım Brothers Muhammet (7) and Furkan (6) had lost their lives in Silopi, Şırnak when a Panzer-type armored vehicle drove into their home last week. The Cizre Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office made a statement regarding the inquiry launched on the incident.

The prosecutor’s office claimed that the legal system launched the inquiry immediately after the incident and said in their statement: “No trace of alcohol was found in the blood sample taken from the suspect police officer while the first reports suggest the accident might have occurred due to a failure in the brake mechanism of the vehicle. It has been recorded that on September 23, 2014, a civilian vehicle hit the same citizen’s house. A complaint wasn’t filed in the 2014 accident and the inquiry resulted in a dismissal.”
