The Kurdistan Independent High Elections and Referendum Commission has stated that the electoral campaign fror the elections in the Kurdistan region to be held on 30 September, will begin on 11 September.

The spokesperson of the Commission, Sherwan Zirar, made a statement in Hewlêr and confirmed that the electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections would begin on 11 September, after a posponment of some days.

Sherwan added that all parties will be free to run their campaigns beginning on that day and said that the Commission will be observe and guarantee that the election campaign is run in a proper and legal way.
