The Gendarmerie Command and Police Headquarters in Amed's Dicle district were targeted by a car bombing last night.

The simultaneous action against both targets was conducted with a bomb-laden vehicle and resulted in a very huge explosion that shook the whole district.

Power was cut and clashes erupted in the area following the action. Reports said a military vehicle that rushed to the scene for intervention was also hit.

No information was immediately available regarding the number of casualties inflicted on Turkish forces here.
