Reports are coming through that Turkish forces have completely demolished the “Martyr İsmail and Martyr Ronahi Cemetery” located in Kulan region in Varto district of Muş.

While the operation in the area continues from both the ground and air, Turkish forces are reported to be shelling the region from the air.

The mosque, cemevi (Alevi place of worship) and graves in the cemetery have reportedly been demolished with heavy construction equipment and armored vehicles.

Turkish forces are denying access to the civilians who want to go the the cemetery area, and have reportedly opened fire on 10 people who attempted to head towards the Broja Kulan area under bombardment.
