A 9-year-old child who got wounded as a result of an explosion in Mardin's Kızıltepe district yesterday, has lost his life.

Tahsin Uray (9) and R.Ş. (9) were both wounded due to the explosion of an unidentified material in Koçhisar neighborhood of Kızıltepe yesterday noon.

Tahsin Uray who lost his one arm in the explosion was first taken to Kızıltepe State Hospital from which he was later referred to Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital yesterday. The boy has lost his life earlier today while receiving treatment at hospital.

Uray's body will be taken by his family and laid to rest in Kızıltepe today.
