Civilian shot by state forces in Şırnak dies

State forces launched an aggression on Dicle neighborhood of Şırnak province yesterday evening.

Civilian Eyüp Öztek was shot in a foot while on his way from home to a relative's house as the neighborhood went under fire at around 9 pm. Öztek, a worker at Şırnak Municipality, remained at the scene for a long while as the aggression continued uninterruptedly for hours. The man could be taken to Şırnak State Hospital at night.

Öztek was taken under surgery and later referred to intensive care unit where he lost his life despite all medical efforts.
