Civilians shot by soldiers in Lice in custody for 5 days

Civilians Münir Serin abd Bedran Yıldırım who were shot by Turkish soldiers in a village of Lice, are held at gendarmerie station for 5 days. Another man who was shot in the same incident was also detained after his discharge from hospital.

During the operation launched by the Turkish army after airdropping soldiers in Bağlan (Mişrif) village of Amed’s Lice district on September 5, 3 civilians got wounded and 2 of them were taken to military station instead of hospital.

As Münir Serin abd Bedran Yıldırım remain in custody since, Celal Yıldırım who suffered a critical injury has also been detained after his discharge from hospital where he received treatment.

While the Governorate labelled the targeted civilians 'accomplices', Münir Serin’s lawyer stated that there has been no development on the related investigation yet, noting that his client is in good state of health.
