In Cizre district of Şırnak where dozens were brutally massacred by state forces in recent days, families gathered outside the municipality as of early morning hours before leaving for the Cudi and Nur neighborhoods to learn about the aftermath of wounded people trapped in three basements, from whom no news has been received since the offensive of military and police forces.

As many as 15 people were detained by police as they reached the Cudi neighborhood Friday noon. Detainees have been taken to Murat Akançay police station.
