Special operations police forces raided a house in Xaçort (Hacıbekir) neighborhood of Van's central İpekyolu district at midnight. A clash erupted during the operation and lasted till the morning. A number of ambulances have been dispatched to the police station in İpekyolu district.

An air-supported operation launched in the area continues amid sounds of gunfight.
